My roots are in Classical Yoga. I teach with strong cues to ensure the safety and maximum benefit of each pose. I believe in and encourage props and modifications. I feel that we need to honor our bodies and be grateful to our breath. I always instill knowledge to my students regarding the difference between discomfort and pain.
Recognizing that our bodies are different is always primary when teaching.
I am energetic, adaptable and encouraging. I rely on my personal practice to support others in experiencing the transformative power of Yoga and Meditation.
I am a Mother and a Dog lover who always supports " Animal Rescue".
Yoga became part of my existence in 1987 when life brought me to my knees. It was not until I walked into a Yoga Nidra class that I discovered the meaningful path I was about to embark on. My teacher walked over to my mat and gently rested a rose quartz on my heart space. Today, I incorporate Yoga Nidra in every class and weave either Chakra Awareness or Marma Points of Ayurveda.

Lianne is a graduate of Soul Practice Yoga. She found yoga while working with children who have disabilities at the Center for Discovery in upstate NY over 10 years ago. From traditional Asthanga to Kundalini to Hatha, to studying Ayurveda and the Chakras, Lianne lives and breathes the practice. Her style is rooted in the philosophy of yoga with a focus on asana alignment and breath work. She loves guiding her students to build their practice into their daily life. She has a special focus in children's yoga, but loves teaching all ages. Lianne is a wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her love of Yoga is beyond measure.

Through Soul Practice Yoga, Nicole became an RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher. 6 years ago, she began practicing yoga to mitigate her adrenal fatigue and insomnia. She fell in love with the asanas and found inner peace. She continues to advance her practice and teach others. She believes yoga is for everyone at every age. W

While Vinyasa is her favorite movement, she has a great appreciation for meditation and enjoys teaching her 2 young daughters Pranayama techniques.
